Step By Step Mode
Soaking dal

  1. Wash the moong dal throughly with fresh water, transfer to a bowl and soak it in water for minimum 4-5 hours.
  2. Drain the excess water and cover the saoked moong dal with a cloth keeping in the coalnder or else you can also tie it with a cloth and kep it overnight to sprout.

Green Gram - Whole  -  1 cup
Making Puree

  1. Transfer the sprouted moong to a grinding jar, add curd, red chilli powder, coriander powder, cumin seeds, green chillies, ginger, fresh coriander and water, grind to a fine puree add more water if required.
  2. Make sure not to make the puree very thin.

Cumin  -  1 tbsp
Green Chilli - Chopped  -  2 tbsp
Ginger  -  1 tbsp

Water  -  250 ml
Making Batter

  1. Add oats powder, for fine texture pass the powder through a sieve.
  2. Add salt and whisk well.
  3. Cover and rest the dough for 15 minutes.
  4. Check the consistency of the batter it should be semi thick just like how a dosa batter is, if too thick add more water.

Making Dosa

  1. Heat a dosa on medium heat and spread 1-2 spoonful of batter and spread evenly to make. thin or thick dosa, depending on your preference.
  2. Drizzle some oil and lower the flame and cook until golden brown from one side, flip and cook for a minute on another side.
  3. Your healthy sprouts and oats dosa is ready to be served.
