Roasting makhana

  1. Heat ghee in a heavy bottom pan over-medium low heat.
  2. Roasting on medium heat is very important. 
  3. If you roast them on high heat, they will not be crunchy from the inside.
  4. Add makhana, salt and black pepper to the pan and mix for 3-4 min, stirring frequently.

Black Pepper Powder  -  0.25 tbsp
Serving

  1. Remove on a palte and let them cool down to room temperature.
  2. The makhanas will become crunchy when cool down.
  3. Serve immediatly or store in an airtight container and much whenever you want to.
