Step By Step Mode
Prepare the Rabri

  1. Pour 1 litre of milk into a large, heavy-bottomed pan.
  2. Bring the milk to a boil, then reduce the heat to low.
  3. Allow the milk to simmer and reduce to 1/3rd of its original volume, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.
  4. Once the milk has thickened, add sugar to taste and 1/2 teaspoon of cardamom powder.
  5. Stir well and continue to simmer for a few more minutes until the sugar dissolves.
  6. Turn off the flame and let the rabri cool slightly.

  3. Bring the mixture to a boil and let it simmer for about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Turn off the flame and set the syrup aside.
